So 9 agencies/stand builders in total, including our client, Impact XM.
Here's how we won.
Step 1: Start with a good idea
Cutting corners here is never a good idea. Rather spend extra time developing something worthwhile and cut later. Many times we've seen projects which rush into design, only to have to redo, or worse yet...not redo, and lose.
The overall idea for this project was the concept of an observation deck looking out of over the connected city of the future.
Below are some of the first draft renderings of the space, for internal review only.
Step 2: Listen to the client
It's not an uncommon thing for smart, successful people to self-sabotage. We recommend not putting your own biases and opinions above what is staring you right in the face...namely, written instructions from the client, either as part of an RFP or creative brief. There is always room for creativity, but it's crucially important to be on-brand and on-strategy.
This brand and strategy-centered thinking was always at the forefront during the AT&T creative process, and allowed us to achieve a beautiful, creative solution that the clients fell in love with.
Step 3: Deliver awesome work
There's no shortcut here. This is time, this is experience, this is determination. Our opinion is that talent actually has very little to do with it. It's the drive...the willingness to put in the time and energy until you find the right answer. It's the difference between showing something that's good enough, and something that's amazing. It's about always questioning yourself and the people around you to make sure you're delivering at the highest level possible. That's what we do at Global Creative.
The result of that time, that experience, that drive is that your projects, no matter what size or budget, get the same care, attention, and relentless determination that this project did.
